The KGB, short for Komitet Gosudarstvennoy Bezopasnosti (Russian: Комите́т Госуда́рственной Безопа́сности; English: Committee for State Security) is well known by people all around the world to be the equivalent of the FBI or more closer to home we have the Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) and the Intelligence Bureau (IB).
This sudden urge to check the intelligence agency of Russia comes from the very striking ring of the phone at 5 in the morning.Heres what made me think of the KGB
Phone : Rrrrrinnnggggggggggggggggg
Me: ( sleepy ) Huh ! Hullo ( drowsy tone )
Russian: Hello Shailu !!
Me:( Thinking Who The Heck in Russia Knows me as Shailu ??)
Me: hel...(Phone goes click)..llo ???
Me Thinking : WTF!! 5 in the Morning whos this chap who calls me so?? confused
Phone : rrrrringggg
Me ( Awww ) : Yeah hi wh....
Russian ( in marathi ): Me yogesh !!
Me: (Phone goes click) huh ??? wats happening
Me: BINGO!! my school pal from India Yogesh Wagh who had been in Russia for his Medical Studies.
Now this situation continued and we spoke one sentence each on the phone and it went dead. Of course I realised it must be the phone card compatibility porblem but just for a second I thought the Russian KGB is still in operation and is still tapping all calls to the US .. hahahahah .....
Yogesh Wagh: Cool eccentric guy i had lots of fun with in school and junior college. Miss those days !! :( will be in touch with him have his yahoo ID !!
Back to sleep now .. jeez 5 in the morning .. halfway through my sleep !!!
