Dead Grass

Last winter I first observed an actual Fall Season and the on coming of Winter which came pretty quick before Fall could complete its 15 seconds of fame. As a result the whole place was immediately white. There was a sudden transmogrification of green to white. So I asked…

Does Grass fall??? Or does it stay under the snow? Or does it even Fall for that matter!!!
The obvious reason was I saw green then white and as winter waned then green again.

Here in Greenville the green turned into yellow. The Elysian green lawns were now looking like a sparsely vegetated desert, which just faced a desert storm.

Fall is one of the most artistic seasons ever. Leaves turn yellow and shades of red as if the trees were set ablaze. But its sad to see the grass lawns now a sorry yellow.
