compress something - make it exchange heat with something cold . expand it so it now is a lot cooler than it was before compression. and then make it exchange heat with ur drinks and ur freezer ! basss

Note: The key to compressing and heating at the same time is the isentropic process 4-1.
Also dont get fooled by the words heater and cooler in this chart. Cooler is where the refirgerant exchanges heat with the atmosphere ( remember those coils behind your refirgerator where all your pens and notes and coins would fall ) Those coils are the cooler. And the heater is what you open and enjoy that chill air pass by you. These terms are named so, as they are looked at throught the coolant point of view.
